Since 1990 I have been creating designs and exploring new applications
in patchwork, quilting and appliqué.
I combine traditional, pictorial and experimental use of fabrics
to create original wallhangings, quilts, cushions and clothing.
In a lot of my work I use African Arts and Crafts as an influence. |

I am particularly interested in fabrics from Africa.
Since 1999 I have been selling a variety of fabrics through my online
African Fabric Shop. I will also bring my famous suitcases along
to talks and workshops for you to rummage through! I'm always on
the lookout for new and exciting fabrics - so the selection is constantly
changing.
