These simple graphic depictions of African imagery - the common gecko, crocodile, and village huts and tree motifs, have a wonderful naif feel. They are all hand-dyed using a wax resist stamping technique by my friend Musa Jaiteh in his family compound in The Gambia.

All fabrics are 100% cotton.

Fabrics are 86 cm / 34 inches wide, approximately. Fat Quarters are 50 x 43 cm, approximately.

Ordering Lengths
Musa dyes his fabrics in small batches, so these fabrics are normally available in pieces up to 2.5 metres long. If you need more than 2.5 metres of a specific fabric, please check with me first for availability.

A note about colour
Because all of these fabrics are hand-dyed, there may be slight variation in colour from batch to batch or from pattern to pattern. For example: Gecko Green may not be an exact colour match with Crocodile Green, and so on.
