Reflections On A Distant
Scene
A reflection of 25 years of life together. The photographs reflect
images of those important to Geoff and June. Most of background
text is taken from the books June's father Fred Archer wrote, one
of which was "The Distant Scene". A gift to my brother
and his wife on their 25th wedding anniversary.

Sunflowers
This idea was developed from some photographs I took of a field
of sunflowers whilst driving across Canada. To make this cushion,
I developed a technique I call Trappliqué - a mixture of
Appliqué and Trapunto.

John's
50th Concerto
Made for my brother John on his 50th birthday.
The music is his favourite piece - Mozart's Piano Concerto #23
in A Major. I was delighted when he recognised it immediately
and went straight to the piano to play it!
Wall
hanging. A mixture of hand dyed and commercially printed cotton,
mainly satin stitch quilted with embellishment.

Made as a commission for a cat lover. The
scene represents her three cats in their garden on the edge of a
forest near Victoria, B.C.
