| Weaving cotton into long strips of cloth is an important textile tradition found throughout West Africa. The cotton is often hand-spun, then woven into long narrow strips up to 60 metres long. The weaving and dyeing techniques vary from region to region.
Note about texture
This hand-spun, hand-woven cloth is slightly thicker than machine woven craft cotton.
