| Brass Bead Treasure Bag from Ghana | ||||

A selection of brass beads, all hand-made in Ghana using the ancient lost wax process. Each delicate bead is fashioned first in bee's wax, then encased in a clay mould. When the mould is fired, the wax is displaced by molten brass. After cooling, the mould must be broken to extract the finished bead for polishing - so each bead is totally unique!
