Shipping cost and despatch

We do not despatch orders every day. Usually we pack and ship orders three times per week.

Shipping is calculated automatically by our online system based on weight and delivery address.

Shipping cost is added to your order after you enter your delivery address. Depending on the weight and delivery address, you may have a choice of delivery service.

Shipping by post and courier

We have four shipping regions:

• UK
• Europe
• Rest of World - not including USA
• USA

UK Orders

UK customers can choose their delivery option: Standard or Express delivery

Standard delivery - UK

• 3 - 4 working days from date of despatch
• We can not guarantee delivery time. This is the delivery aim published by the service provider.
• Tracked
• For larger more valuable orders - tracked and signed for

Express delivery - UK

• Next working day from date of despatch
• We can not guarantee delivery time. This is the delivery aim published by the service provider.
• Tracked
• For larger more valuable orders - tracked and signed for

Extra large packages - UK

Over 20 kg, shipping will be added automatically at 10% of the order value.

• Service used and delivery time will depend on the package
• Tracked and signed for

Orders to Europe and Rest of World - not USA

Shipping is calculated automatically by our system based on weight and delivery address.

Up to 2 kg

• Air mail or courier service - which ever is most suitable for the package
• Tracked - where possible
• Signed for - where possible

More than 2 kg

Shipping will be calculated automatically by our system at:

• Europe - add 20% of order value
• Rest of World,  not USA - add 25% of order value

Delivery aims

• Europe: 3 - 5 working days from date of despatch
• Rest of World, not USA: 5 - 7 working days from date of despatch

Orders to USA - including Alaska and Hawaii

Shipping is calculated automatically by our system based on weight and delivery address.

• Air mail or courier service - which ever is most suitable for the package
• Tracked and signed for

More than 2 kg

Over 2 kg, shipping will be added automatically at 30% of the order value.

• USA: 5 - 7 working days from date of despatch
• We can not guarantee delivery times. These are the delivery aims published by the service providers.

Special shipping requests and quotations

If you have special shipping requirements, we'll do our best to help.

• Please place and pay for your order as normal - including the calculated shipping cost
• Then email us with your special request
• We may require additional payment. We will respond with a quotation before shipping your order.
• Or, we may refund any overpayment

VAT

All Shipping and Packing rates include UK VAT, which we are obliged by law to collect.

Important note about Post Office Box numbers

In most cases, courier services will not accept deliveries to Post Office Box numbers. Please provide a street address complete with post code. This does not generally apply to normal postal deliveries.

Billing and Delivery Address

If your billing address and delivery address are different and if for any reason we suspect that your card is being used in a fraudulent transaction, we will contact you at the email or telephone number you have given us. If we are not satisfied that the transaction is legitimate, will not ship the goods you have ordered. We will refund the payment to the payment card you used and notify the authorities.

Insurance

We will only insure goods at the customer's request. If the value of your order is greater than GBP100, we strongly recommend that you insure it. If requested, we will insure your goods and add that cost to your payment.

Packing materials

We post  items all over the world. We want your valuable items to arrive undamaged. We also appreciate the impact of packing materials and waste on the environment. So we have to strike a balance.

• We collect and reuse packing materials - our own and our neighbours’.
• When ever we do resort to new materials, we try to use envelopes and similar items with recycled or sustainable credentials.
• Your package from us won’t look as pristine as the one from Amazon. We’re proud of that.

Plastic bags

Sometimes - to best protect your goods in transit - we do use plastic bags. When we do, we try to reuse and recycle or use biodegradable products.
