This piece demonstrates Magie’s fascination with small fragments of African textiles. Handwoven cotton strip cloth with fragments of handwoven vintage African textiles. Embellished with a broken fragment of an old trade bead, recycled glass and plastic beads and a recycled brass tortoise… broken, of course… he only has 3 legs!
