Ethiopian Netela - purple trim

Perfect as a scarf or light shawl - netela refers to the traditional handwoven cotton wrapper worn by women all over Ethiopia.

Netala are always white with a coloured border band at each end. The cloth is very thin - almost see through - but wrapped in multiple layers, netela provide warmth in the high, cold mountains of Ethiopia.
